For 20 years, Guitar Center has been committed to providing drummers across the country the opportunity to pursue their musical aspirations and achieve their dreams by way of the world's largest drum competition: Guitar Center Drum-Off. Beginning on September 23rd, each of the 214 Guitar Center stores throughout the country held preliminary rounds to handpick the best drummers in their city. On October 14th, the cream of the crop went head-to-head in the nationwide store finals. Each city crowned a champion to moved on to the district competitions, which will be held in 24 cities on November 11th.

Competitors that make it to the national grand finals have a chance to win over $45,000 in cash and prizes, joining over 5,000 drummers from across the country to compete for the title of Guitar Center's Drum-Off Champion 2008. One of the Discrict competitions will be held on November 11th in San Francisco at the following Guitar Center:
