'just wanted you to check out the Brooklyn based group whose music is as sensational as their name, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, if you haven't already. The diverse collective is made of 8 musicians, artists, a self-proclaimed witch doctor and a medicine man. Apparently when you throw them all in one pot the result is a cosmic, psychedelic disco a la Sly & The Family Stone and Parliament. The Phenomenal Handclap Band’s self-titled debut album is being released on June 23. Hurry, you still have time to dust off your bell bottoms and learn a disco routine.
