Check out Tim Easton, an artist based out of Joshua Tree, California. We were lucky to have caught his performance at The Mint in Los Angeles. Despite a group of drunk-and-chatty audience, oblivious to the fervent performance right in front of them, Tim Easton played a good and solid hour-long performance. He shared stories that inspired his songs including one where he collaborated with Jay Bennett RIP. His voice is gritty as his look (photos here), a reminder to Jeff Tweedy or Ryan Adams. His new album, Porcupine, is a pleasant bundle of witty lyrics, blues and Americana undertones.
