Fanfarlo is an awesome group of musicians who originated from different places and headed by singer, Simon Balthazar. Their music, right off the bat, reminds me of Arcade Fire, layers of instrumentation paired with stacks of emotion. I'm a sucker for any band who can put their xylophone to use and Fanfarlo is one of them. Instantly, I'm a fan.

Their highly-praised debut album, Reservoir, is currently for sale here for $1 until the 4th of July. Other than buying the album at their shows, this would be the way to get a hold of it. After July 4th, the offer will be expired and you'll have to wait til its official release in September.
