Is it weird that I'm feeling old and nostalgic when listening to Wavves self-titled album even though it's a somewhat recent release? The music reminds me of my younger self. A mix of Smashing Pumpkins' noisiest songs and a way-distorted Ash. Wavves is mostly Nathan Williams. He's young, from San Diego, California and might as well be a time-traveling musician from the 90s. Check out the video of "No Hope Kids" that they shot while touring the UK, right here.
